J Mouse was asleep in bed one night when he heard a funny little "plop" sound. He didn't really pay much attention to it because he was having the most wonderful dream. J Mouse is Cleverer Than CAT!

J Mouse is caught hopping up and down on the computer keyboard by his big enemy CAT! "Please CAT" said J Mouse in a cunning tone of voice, "let me hop on this key and we'll turn on the light of the computer screen so we'll be able to see everying much, much better. We'll be able to see how CLEVER you really are". With that, J Mouse jumped on to a big key on the computer keyboard and immediately there was a whirring noise and the computer screen lit up brightly.

J Mouse Meets a little Mouse Called Desiree

J Mouse peeped out of a mouse hole one day and got the biggest surprise of his life because there was another little mouse peeping in at him. The other little mouse was a really beautiful mouse. She had gorgeous long whiskers and smooth shiny fur. "Hi! My name is Desiree" said the beautiful mouse with a friendly squeak, "who are you"? "My name is J Mouse", said J Mouse politely. "I live next door in (your child's name's) house but I don't know my way home. Can you help me Desiree?"

J Mouse Orders 500 Boxes of Cheese!

Suddenly the telephone rang and (your child's name's) mummy picked it up and said "hello!". A very friendly man's voice at the other end of the telephone line said "Hi! I want to tell him that later on this morning we'll be delivering to him his special order of five hundred boxes of our very best cheese". "Five hundred boxes of cheese!" said mummy in amazement. "There must be some mistake because there's nobody called "jm" living in this house".

J Mouse Runs Up The Clock!

Before he went out shopping Daddy said that he and (your child's name) would be back at exactly one o'clock. And the very first thing that Daddy is going to do when he comes into the hall is look at the time on the Grandfather clock. Daddy ALWAYS looks at the clock when he comes into the hall. J Mouse Terrifies An Elephant

J Mouse is up to his tricks again. He is writing a little message on the computer for (your child's name) when suddenly CAT grabs him. CAT runs down the garden with J Mouse in her mouth and attracts the attention of all the dogs in the neighbourhood. There's a huge chase with CAT leading the way. And the only place that CAT can find refuge is in the elephant's house in the local zoo.

And the moment the elephant sees J Mouse in CAT's mouth things begin to get very exciting indeed. Phew! This is a fabulous mouse, cat and dog chase and the ending of this bedtime story is really great!
